What You’ll Master During the Training


Our 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is more than just a certification—it's a transformative journey into self-discovery and purpose. Held in the serene and inspiring landscapes of Sri Lanka, this residential training immerses you completely in the practice and lifestyle of yoga. Away from daily distractions, you’ll find the space to connect deeply with yourself, embrace discipline, and cultivate a new perspective on life.

This program offers a unique blend of traditional teachings and modern approaches, guided by a team of experts. Learn from a medical professional with a deep understanding of the body, and gain insight from a serial entrepreneur on meditation, mindset, and how to design and direct your life with intention. Through structured practice, meaningful discussions, and moments of reflection, you’ll uncover clarity and direction in your own path. Beyond becoming a certified yoga teacher, this experience promises to enrich your life, instill inner balance, and ignite a lifelong passion for growth.

1. Techniques, Training, and Practice: 100 Hours

In this section, you will learn and practice various yoga techniques, including asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, and meditation.

  • Practice and refine techniques for asanas, pranayama, meditation, and kriyas.

  • Build confidence through guided teaching and peer feedback.

  • Explore chanting and yogic rituals to integrate tradition into modern practice.

 2. Teaching Methodology: 25 Hours

Empower your voice and presence as a yoga teacher.

  • Master the art of sequencing creative, safe, and engaging yoga classes.

  • Develop techniques for effective communication, observation, and hands-on adjustments.

  • Understand the business of yoga, including marketing and ethical teaching practices.

 3. Anatomy and Physiology: 20 Hours

This module focuses on understanding the human body and how it functions in yoga practice. You will:

  • Learn about key muscle groups, joints, and their functions in various poses.

  • Explore energy anatomy, including the chakras, nadis, and bandhas, to deepen your understanding of holistic movement.

  • Gain practical insights to align, adjust, and teach safely, minimizing the risk of injuries.

 4. Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: 30 Hours

Delve into the rich philosophical foundations of yoga and immerse yourself in the timeless wisdom of yoga philosophy.

  • Study key texts like the Yoga Sutras, The 8 Limbs of Patanjali and Bhagavad Gita to understand yoga’s roots.

  • Discuss ethical teaching practices and how to lead with integrity and compassion learning concepts like Ahimsa, Dharma and Karma

  • Learn to incorporate yogic principles into daily life for a balanced and mindful lifestyle.

  • Ethics for yoga teachers, including the teacher-student relationship and the value of yoga as a service to others.


 5. Practicum: 10 Hours

Put theory into action with hands-on teaching.

  • Practice leading yoga classes under the guidance of experienced mentors.

  • Receive constructive feedback to refine your style and approach.

  • Observe and learn from peers, building your confidence as an instructor.

Remaining non-contact hours include:

Deepen your knowledge through self-paced learning.

  • Engage with assigned readings, audio lessons, and reflective journaling.

  • Complete assignments and assessments designed to solidify your understanding.

  • Participate in discussions and Q&A sessions to clarify concepts and gain insights.

  • Dates

    • Start Date: November 2, 2025

    • End Date: November 23, 2025 (Graduation)

    • Duration: 21 days (2 Sundays off: November 9 and November 16, 2025)

    Daily Schedule: Monday - Saturday

    Morning:

    • 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Morning Yoga Practice

    • 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Meditation and Pranayama Practice

    • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Breakfast

    • 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Anatomy and Physiology

    • 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Asana Theory and Practice

    Midday:

    • 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch

    • 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Teaching Methodology & Practicum

    • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Break

    Afternoon/Evening:

    • 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Philosophy and Ethics

    • 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM: Gentle Practice or Meditation

    • 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Dinner

    • 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Group Discussion or Workshop

    • 10:00 PM: Lights Off

    Sundays (Days Off)

    • Free Time: Use this day for rest, personal reflection, exploration, or relaxation.
      Recommendations for local sightseeing or relaxation will be shared.
